Established as an industrial valve manufacturing company in 2015, through an R&D process, the world’s first non-metallic high-density polyethylene (HDPE) valve was launched as a result of a public-private joint investment technology development project with the Korea Water Resources Corporation in 2019, and in 2021, it was approved as a commercialization technology by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
We carried out the development project 『Non-metallic butterfly valve without internal and external rust』 and produced a product customized to the customer. The strengths of non-metal butterfly valves are that they are free from corrosion and the product is lighter than existing cast iron valves, so safety accidents can be prevented when installed in the field, and constructability can be improved and maintenance costs can be reduced.
In addition, the valve body is made of HDPE, a grade 2 recycled material, with high recycling value, and the valve body is not cast, which reduces energy consumption in the manufacturing process.
